Chris and Martin were given a tour of the Austin Community College Music Business Performance Technology department by Studio Manager Kurtis Machler and Department Chair Tim Dittmar. Chris and Martin initiated the creation of this program, first known as the ACC Commercial Music Technology program beginning in 1986. It took three years to bring the school to fruition and Martin taught Music Marketing for three years. After voters approved a $386 million ACC bond in 2014, the MBPT program received everything they asked for and now have an incredible program with recording recording studios and many helpful student resources.
