Midland to Alpine to Big Bend National Park - August 2025
From August 12th to 15th we (Chris, Sophie and Martin) made a fun trip to visit Karl, Karen, Tim & Timothy near San Angelo; Alice and Carl Williams in Midland and Jackie and Bruce Carter also in Midland. We then spent a day in Alpine and travelled to the Big Bend Park.

In Midland we visited with Alice and Carl Williams, Martin's friend and long time mentor since 1959 • Rescue Squad - Bud Powers, Rick Sohl, Martin, Carl and Ray Baker
Then we caught up with Jackie and Bruce Carter. Jackie worked at Midland High School with Carol (Martin's first wife). Bruce and Martin worked together at Ector County Children's Services and had great fun riding motorcycles around Odessa' motocross track, oil fields, Monahans Sand Hills, Big Bend, Candelaria, Big Springs and more.
